Nothing new underthe sun!August 2017   
I spent today in class learning all the ins and outs of yet another new Math curriculum. Now as I start my 33rd year of Teaching Public Elementary School I've been through a fair amount of training on new curriculum. as I'm contemplating all this "new" jargon, components, tasks and games someone says "the parents will glue game directions to the front of manilla envelopes and all the game pieces will be i side the envelope---wont that be neat?"  I think to myself, 'isn't this the way I started? Tagboard games in manilla folders with paper pieces!?'  Yep, nothing new under the sun!
